The summer is persisting, stretching on, leaving to autumn only the turning of the leaves to russet, the coolness of the evenings, the dawn mist and some mushrooms...

Idyllic weather for the wine harvest, it was a little less so in the spring and the beginning of summer as it rained quite a lot; the harvest is therefore full of nuances with excellent results with regard to quality for the cinsaults, the clairettes and the grenaches, however with yields slightly less than in previous years for the majority of vineyards.

There are still some weeks to wait patiently to see what are the subtleties of the 2011 vintage. To be discovered also in the next issue, the wooden extension to the Sévigné's LCB*: "Le Lodge": a modern view of holidays in the middle of nature!

Wine-tasting cellar

The magnificent vaulted cellar, one of the oldest in Var (1840), has been renovated and it now offers a wonderful area to taste Côtes de Provence white, rosé, and red

The cellar will be open all through the winter on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. (On Wednesday and at the week-end by appointment)
