La Ferme-Auberge at the Château Mentone welcomes you to the hinterland of Var, in the heart of Provence Verte, between Lorgues and Salernes. In a magnificent setting of vineyards, orchards, olive groves and forests, La Ferme-Auberge serves lunches and dinners with deliciously local flavours.

In the estate's old farm building, La Ferme-Auberge offers a simple but designer interior, in harmony with the exceptional setting. The Chef and his team offer a seasonal menu, prepared mainly with produce from the estate(wine, vegetables, fruit, olive oil, eggs) and local produce .

All of the dishes are accompanied by Château Mentone wines  in order to allow you to discover the estate's Côtes de Provence organic vintages . The dishes can be savoured on-site or can be taken away regardless of whether you are passing through Var or staying at one of the estate's properties.

La Ferme-Auberge also houses a winery and a tasting room. It is proud of its "Bienvenue à la Ferme"  label which is based on specifications drawn up by the Chamber of Agriculture.

Provencal cuisine prepared with local products

Savour a resolutely Provencal style cuisine at La Ferme Auberge. Through his refined and generous dishes, the Chef takes pleasure in bringing the most out of all the estate's produce: fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden, fruit from the orchards, olives from the estate's olive groves, eggs laid by our hens.

This appetising array of pure Provencal tastes is completed by produce (meat and poultry, cheese, cold meat, etc.) from local farmers.

The Chef Frédéri Guiol

After training at the Marseille hotel school, Frédéri Guiol continued his training at a local auberge in Auvergne. A four-year experience which he greatly enjoyed and which led him to take charge of the kitchen of La Ferme-Auberge at the Château Mentone.

The Chef fits perfectly into the spirit of our establishment with his simple and generous style of cuisine, prepared mainly with produce from the estate : olive oil, vegetables and fruit, eggs, fresh herbs. He also buys from local farmers and at the surrounding markets.

The Chef, invites you to savour his sun-filled cuisine, inspired by the southern recipes enhanced with fresh and good quality produce which, above all, he enjoys serving in delicious and inventive dishes.

Practical information

La Ferme-Auberge is a wine estate dining module: the estate's wines are served along with dishes prepared with produce from the estate or from the local area.

Our wines : The prices charged at the vineyard inn are exactly the same as those charged at our Cellars : indeed we don’t add any margin onto our own products nor do we add on the cost of service or managing empties to our patrons, another guarantee of the best value for money you will find !
