Located on the Place de la Collégiale Saint-Martin, in the heart of Lorgues, Le Bistrot de Mentone is a restaurant where guests come to share a convivial and indulgent moment. An extension of Château Mentone, the estate in Saint-Antonin-du-Var, our bistrot offers market-fresh cuisine that changes constantly, according to the products and inspirations of the moment. 

Every day, the dishes are announced on the chalkboard: 5 starters, 5 main courses and 5 desserts. Our menu changes with the seasons to showcase the finest produce of the Var. Accompany your meal with the organic wines of Château Mentone, selected to complement each dish. From lunch on the sun-drenched terrace to dinner inside, Le Bistrot de Mentone offers a warm and relaxed restaurant experience in Lorgues, with our team always on hand to guide you. 

An attractive lunch formula: a weekly menu from Friday to Tuesday reimagines the classics of Var cuisine: Aïoli, Soupe au Pistou, braised rabbit, Petits Farcis, Daube...

Generous Provençal cuisine

Cuisine to share: each dish is accompanied by various garnishes and a fresh mesclun salad with aromatic herbs. Three daily sauces enhance the whole, regularly changed according to the whims of Chef Sébastien Sanjou. An experience without compromise on price: the cellar and the bistrot work in synergy. Bottles served at the table are sold at the cellar price, with only a small service supplement. 

A passionate advocate of the local terroir, Chef Sébastien Sanjou brings his expertise and passion to every plate, whether at La Table de Mentone or at Le Bistrot de Mentone in Lorgues. At the Bistrot, he takes a more relaxed approach, championing generous, sharing cuisine. 

True to his values, the Chef works exclusively with fresh, seasonal products from carefully selected local producers. Here, a different experience: more spontaneous, more convivial, designed to be shared over a fine bottle from the cellar at La Maison Mentone.

Themed evenings and events in Lorgues

Le Bistrot de Mentone brings life to the heart of Lorgues with its themed evenings and festive events throughout the season. From April to September, twice a month on Tuesdays, DJ sets set the mood for evenings at the bistrot, in a convivial atmosphere where music, Provençal cuisine and estate wines come together. A must-visit address in Lorgues for shared moments with friends or family.
